We are a local non-profit organization located in Avoyelles Parish | Louisiana dedicated to the
positive development of our youth.
Mission
The mission of the Avoyelles Community & Youth Coalition is to recognize health and wellness in the communities in which we live and work and how it impacts our well-being. The Avoyelles Community & Youth Coalition encourages and supports healthy choices and it is our mission to help reduce destructive decisions such as vaping, opioids, illegal drug use like fentanyl which can be laced in many drug types, using prescription drugs not prescribed to them, and to help reduce underage drinking ages 9-20 in Avoyelles Parish.
Values
We value our children! The focus of our organization is to impact our youth in a positive direction. Our goal is to create an environment that will discourage underage drinking and suicidal thoughts and tendencies.
