Providing resources and support for the parents and community of Avoyelles for mental health and well-being: free parent coaching on the issues students and families need, Monthly free confidential mental health series, ask a therapist and on-demand courses. It is the mission of the Avoyelles Parish School System and Mental Health Department to enhance social and emotional awareness focused on improving behavioral health to support overall wellness and educational experiences.

Providing professional teen and adult driver's education on a higher lever.  At Ready 2 Roll Driving Academy, we do not want to just teach you or your teen to drive. We aspire to develop life-saving habits that will last their lifetime.

CenLA Healthy Start provides free services to women and families from pregnancy until their baby turns 18 months old. All services are 100% free, regardless of income or insurance. Some services include: case management, counseling, doula and lactation services, fatherhood services, car seat safety checks, and parent store incentives.

The Louisiana Campaign for Tobacco-Free Living (TFL), a program of the Louisiana Cancer Research Center and the Louisiana Public Health Institute, engages in local and state-wide tobacco control and prevention efforts focusing on reducing the impact of tobacco use in all its forms, eliminating secondhand smoke exposure, promoting cessation services, and identifying and eliminating cancer and other tobacco-related disparities.

The Washington Street Hope Center is a 28-day inpatient residential substance abuse program that teaches the 12-steps of Alcoholics Anonymous via the internationally recognized program of Recovery Dynamics. The Hope Center is licensed through the Department of Health and Hospitals and has received an Accreditation with CARF International. Our mission is to provide both men and women with quality treatment that will enable them to find a new way of life

The Mission of the Louisiana Mental Health Association is to provide services, education, and advocacy for persons who need mental and behavioral health support.

The Avoyelles Parish Health Unit is a public health facility operated under the Louisiana Department of Health in Marksville, Louisiana. It provides a range of community health and environmental services that promote the well-being of residents in Avoyelles Parish and surrounding areas. The unit plays a central role in disease prevention, health education, and public safety oversight.
