📣 ACYC October Coalition Meeting Recap!

The Avoyelles Community & Youth Coalition gathered this week under the leadership of Chairperson Donna Desoto, Board President John Gagnard, and Administrative Assistant Maria Trichell — uniting community partners and organizations dedicated to keeping our youth safe and substance-free. 💪

We were honored to welcome guest speaker Amy Guidry, Operations Coordinator with Acadian Ambulance Services, who shared valuable insights about community readiness and emergency response. 🚑

The meeting also included exciting updates and initiatives:

🎗️ Red Ribbon Week events across Avoyelles Parish — promoting drug-free living!

🎄 Holiday Cheer Project in partnership with the Hope Center — spreading hope and kindness this season.

🎬 Student Ambassadors are preparing a heartfelt Holiday Message to inspire their peers to choose sobriety.
