Monthly Meeting

The Avoyelles Community and Youth Coalition held its monthly meeting on March 18, 2025 — and we’re excited to share some of the meaningful conversations and plans underway!

 We discussed an upcoming TV commercial featuring the talented students at St. Anthony School.

 We celebrated the grand opening of Faith House Avoyelles, LA, and talked about how we can all support with needed items.

 We also shared updates on the “Catch My Breath” program — the evidence-based curriculum we bring into local schools to educate students on the dangers of vaping.

We also discussed our latest venture: Student Scholarships!

We were grateful for the thoughtful questions about current youth vaping trends and how our coalition is working to address them.
